Certified quasi-non-combustible (준불연) by KFI under KS F ISO 5660-1 (cone calorimeter): total heat release ≤ 8 MJ/m² over 10 minutes, peak heat-release rate not exceeding 200 kW/m² for more than 10 consecutive seconds, plus a gas-toxicity test.
Fire-rated interior finishes are required for public and escape-route areas in Korea, Japan (準不燃, ISO 5660-1), China (GB 8624 B1) and the EU/Germany (EN 13501-1). Testing to your local standard can be arranged on request.
PVC contains chlorine; on combustion it releases corrosive hydrogen chloride (HCl) gas. In real fires, smoke and toxic gas, not flame, are what threaten people most.
In apartment-building fires in Korea, 77.9% of deaths involved smoke or toxic-gas inhalation (Korea Fire Safety Institute analysis, 2014–2018).

A decorative interior film (deco sheet / interior film) for walls, columns, doors and furniture. Conventional interior films are usually PVC; ours is made of polyolefin (PP/PET), the same food-grade material family used for food packaging.
A metal fire-safety layer is fused into a thin 0.2 mm sheet to achieve a quasi-non-combustible grade certified by the Korea Fire Institute (KFI). It contains no PVC and no phthalate (DOP) plasticizers.
Inside the 0.2 mm sheet: 4 layers
No chlorine; on combustion it does not release hydrogen chloride (HCl) and is not a dioxin precursor, unlike PVC film.
A fused metal layer delays flame spread and enables a quasi-non-combustible grade in a thin 0.2 mm film.
Food-grade PP/PET with no phthalate (DOP) plasticizers, avoiding the associated indoor-air concerns.
Higher surface hardness than PVC film, for better resistance to dents and pressure marks.
Solid, wood and painted-wood finishes with sharp print and a soft-touch surface.
0.2 mm self-adhesive film applied over approved substrates.
Two lines carry the current KFI quasi-non-combustible certification: Neotec SAVE (35 colours) and the renewed Hansol Lasola Art-Eco line (20 colours), together 55 colours in solid, wood and painted-wood. Both share the same construction with an aluminium fire-safety layer. The original Art-Eco line (66 colours, certified under the previous KFI criteria) adds metal and fabric textures. More finishes are available via Hansol Storyfilm (non-fire-rated).

YEILDECO is led by Cheol Son and is based in Daegu, Korea, where the full colour range and the original certificates can be inspected in person. The film we distribute has been installed nationwide: in schools, hospitals and apartment complexes of up to 500 units.
Global fire standards
Japan calls it 準不燃. China, B1 (难燃). Germany, B-s1,d0. The US, Class A. Korea calls it 준불연, and defines it exactly: total heat release under 8 MJ/㎡ over the 10-minute cone-calorimeter test (KS F ISO 5660-1), with the peak heat-release rate never exceeding 200 kW/㎡ for more than 10 consecutive seconds. Our film is KFI-certified to precisely that.
Every building code measures the same three things (rate of heat release, flame spread, and smoke / toxic gas) for one goal: to buy occupants time to escape. Across fires, smoke and toxic-gas inhalation, not flame, is the leading cause of death.

Test methods differ by region: Korea and Japan use the cone calorimeter (ISO 5660-1); China and the EU use the SBI method; the US uses ASTM E84. Grades therefore correspond approximately (≈), not exactly, except Korea and Japan, which judge this tier by the identical ISO 5660-1 thresholds. (준불연 uses the stricter 10-minute cone test; flame-retardant / 난연 is judged at 5 minutes.)

KFI is a national fire authority, not a self-declaration. Our film is certified in Korea, and we are candid about scope: testing to your local standard (EN 13501-1 / GB 8624 / JIS) can be arranged on request.
YEILDECO holds Korean certification. Our film is certified by KFI (Korea Fire Institute) to Korea’s 준불연 (quasi-non-combustible) standard, KS F ISO 5660-1. We do not currently hold EN 13501-1 (EU), GB 8624 (China) or JIS A 1321 (Japan) certificates. Because these standards rest on the same fire-science principles (and Korea and Japan share the identical ISO 5660-1 test), independent testing to your local standard can be arranged on request. The KFI classification is issued for the film (material) itself.
KFI certificate and inspection/test reports, a KCT fire-test report and a KCL environmental (VOC) test report, the Korean Environmental Label, the HB (healthy building material) group standard, and a registered patent.
